South Congregational Church at 45 Maple Street in downtown Springfield is hosting a free concert with renowned composer and jazz bassist Avery Sharpe featuring his new composition, “I Am My Neighbors Keeper”.

Sharpe is known world-wide for his compositions that blend musical genres and a wide range of top-tier performers in unique and crowd-pleasing creations. The upcoming performance blends a jazz quartet with a traditional, classical string quartet.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for light receptions.
