Friday, July 11 at the Hope Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. Jazz & Roots presents Springfield’s very own Jo Sallins Experience, a high-energy set of originals and inspired takes on classics by Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Hubert Laws, Marcus Miller, and Bill Withers. The Experience will be followed by a tribute, "Celebrating Joe Cocker," featuring Mitch Chakour and members of Joe Cocker’s touring band.

Together, these performances will bring unmatched energy and depth to one of the festival's first performances in the Hope Center for the Arts, Metro Center’s new state-of-the-art facility.
