At the HOPE Center for the Arts, experience a multimedia performance with Water Seed's "Journey to Funkstar."
Merging Roots will perform on the main stage in Stearns Square. The offering is a collaboration between acclaimed Afro-Caribbean jazz artists William Cepeda and Elio Villafranca, celebrating the shared African roots connecting Cuba, Puerto Rico, and New Orleans. This event will kick off with a one-hour discussion (at the HOPE Center) as part of the festival’s Jazz & Justice Series, where the artists will share their cultural influences and musical journeys.
